Wow ! 3864 pound curb weight listed by C&D is horrible. That is just shy of an M5.

Default Interesting how

reviews of both the M5 and the B6 S4 don't seem to include the statements, "Gosh, this car is such a heavy pig, it handles like crap and I hate driving it!"

There is far too much emphasis being placed on numbers and stats, and not the overall package, IMHO. If it's a fun car to drive, it's a fun car to drive... regardless of whether it weighs 3,864 lbs or 3,400 lbs. Guess what? Both are pretty heavy. If you want a lightweight, nimble car, you shouldn't be looking at V8-powered German sports sedans.

Is it that much? I was thinking the B5 was 3700ish. You're probably right.

Default i agree

it's funny how people react to the magazine reviews. I mean really who cares what the magazines say.

The most important thing is you buy the car that is right for you, not what the magazine says.

If you want a lightweight, nimble car, buy an Elise--it's a fine car.

I'd love to have one. I'd just rather have an S4.
