Thought I would pass on an update. I picked up my car yesterday (it was towed to the dealer on March 15th). They removed the super charger and found the valley full of gas, gas was leaking from cylinder 2 intake, bank 1 fuel rail and there was a "pinched" seal in the injector.

I will have to get my repair order to quote exactly all the work was done but I was told it took 5 hours to replace a couple of injectors, intakes, gaskets, and bank 1 fuel rail. They also did a 30 mile test drive to insure everything was done properly.

Some parts had to be Fed Exed from Germany which caused the delay on the repair.

Great to have the car back, it was like picking it up for the first time only already broken in

Thanks for the update, good to hear everything was fixed. Hopefully that's it for problems on your S4, you've had a string of back luck.

Mike, Glad you got your car back..... Did they say what may have caused the issue? That could have been ugly if you kept driving it and the engine got really hot causing the gas to ignite.... Glad it has been fixed though! later Ron

Nothing was said about what may have caused this and just to clarify, Audi asked for a few extra parts to be replaced in addition to those that were not working properly.

The issue was fully documented and photographed by the techs and sent back to Audi for their review. Hopefully what they learn on my car will be helpful for others.

For NWS4Guy and any others, the work order notes read:

11009 Diag. Fuel dripping down front of engine. Found fuel coming from under supercharger. Removed supercharger. Engine valley filled with fuel. Pressurized rail and fuel is coming out of cylinder 2 injector. Removed bank 1 fuel rail and found pinched upper injector seal. See attached photo. Brett D. Also took pictures and e-mailed to Audi. Audi requested to replace bank 1 lower intake with fuel rail and replace bank 2 injector. Replaced bank 1 lower intake and cylinder 2 injector.

Notes are a little confusing due to some repetition but the parts list has:

2 repair kits
2 injectors
1 intake manifold with fuel rail
3 gaskets
