2.8 heads on a 2.7T
I've got a 2.7T Allroad, Engine code 'ARE' 250bhp, the same as the early S4. After reading some advice on another thread / forum, I'm wanting to get round to changing the heads to the 2.8 ones, with high strength pistons, springs and RS4 cams.
My question is this, would I need to use the 2.8 heads of the newer A series cars, i.e. 2.8 A4 or A6, or would the 2.8 heads be suitable from the older 80 series fit.
Any advice would be great.
