Default 4th Mod - Hardwire Radar Detector

Hey Everyone,

Had some time this weekend so I took my Passport 9500ix out of my bimmer (was hardwired in there) and installed it in the S4. Pretty easy install, with the only hiccup being trying to find a fuse that would make the radar detector go on and off with the ignition. In the BMW just had it hooked to the fuse for the horn, but when I tried it the Audi the damn thing would stay on. So, I started trying fuse after fuse until I finally got to the Fuel Pump fuse. Detector doesn't quite go on and off with the ignition like I wanted, but close enough. Now when I press the unlock button on the key the detector goes on, and then it turns off about 15 seconds after shutting off the car. Seems to stay on and off with the lights that also come on and off when you lock and unlock the car.

Also had time to wash down the car and take my first hi-res pics since getting the black rims installed the week before last, so I'll load a few of those too. Unfortunately had to size them down a bit to attach on the forum cause the originals are 6mb each from my 40D. Enjoy!

Probably either regret asking this or show my age, but what exactly does murdered out mean?
