I have purchased a 2014 A4 rear diff with 7K to replace my current one which resides in a 2012 A4 B8 Quattro. Compatibility has been checked with Audi. The current diff has too much backlash and a low hum. The new one has the "backlash" of a new unit...maybe a millimeter.

Although probably straightforward, I am wary of unintended complications. I finished replacing many front control arms... basic stuff yet a lot of
the procedure is learned by doing, and some aspects of this job cannot be anticipated.

So, if anyone has an illustrated removal/replacement schematic procedure for the rear diff, THANK YOU !
