Default A4 B8 Carpet Removal

Hi
My driver side footwell is wet. I've checked sunroof drainage and other drains and all are OK. I am beginning to suspect the air conditioning condensate drains which I believe come either side of the centre console at the front are to blame.

I probably need to take out the carpet to dry the foam underside. So two questions please:
a. How do I get the carpet out - does it require the centre console to come out?
b. where exactly are the condensate drains, how do I access them and clear the blockage.

Thanks.

Thanks for your input and suggestions but anyone know:
where exactly are the condensate drains, how do I access them and clear the blockage.

Default Driver footwell wet

Did you manage to fix it? Have the exact same problem. No drain is blocked. Probably the AC condensation. Did you do it yourself or have you found a mechanic to do it for you? Thank you.

Hi Motores51,
Yes I fixed the problem myself. I managed to get the carpets out at the front without taking the central console between the seats out. I got to the condensate drains, cleared them and resealed. All OK since.
