Mine is an Stronic and yes my car hesitates when it is very cold only, generally when it is around -15 C. Have not been to the dealer about this cause by the time I got there the car would be warm and it would be running fine. Only hesitates for about 5 seconds. I would have to leave the car at the dealer overnight. So unless this gets worse I will likely not do anything about it. I will mention this issue on my next scheduled maintenance.

I have similar in my S-Tronic problems when i drive down my long condo driveway going about 10MPH after a cold startup. However, problem seems to go away after i pull away from my driveway.

Guys, I am pretty sure he has 6MT, hence the "clutch being all the way out" comment. If so, the DSG comments won't be of much help

Though if he is having clutch all the way out issues with DSG, I think we found the problem.

my guess is the cold startup with a direct-injection engine. These cars will run rich at start to ensure a smoother startup. My bet is when you accelerate, you're just feeling a slight hesitation where the ECU is adjusting the A/F mixture.

We know about the OP's manual just stating that we are having a similar problem, I can read.
