CPO vehicles
I have a buddy looking at a CPO S4 but it is not from an Audi dealer. Is the 100K warranty still given or is that only if you purchase a CPO from an Audi dealer?

The Audi Certified pre-owned Limited Warranty is transferable from the original owner of the CPO vehicle to a subsequent private owner (certain conditions apply, please see the Audi Certified pre-owned Limited Warranty application for details).
Doesn’t sound like a winner due to the fact that someone owned the car in between the person who purchased it as a CPO and your buddy.
Maybe the dealership would by some chance honor it still. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to send his/her dealer the VIN and see.
