how to aim headlights?
In my 3 series, there was a place on the headlight under the hood where I could stick a philips head screwdriver in and rotate counter clockwise to move the headlight guide up, and aim them a little higher. How do we adjust this car higher? Has anyone done a DIY?
I noticed that at about 65 mph I was outdriving my headlights on a windy country road this weekend.

you can adjust them using the two white screws under the hood. they are pretty obvious. hex screw but its got a phillips cross at the bottom. turn clockwise to go up... counter clockwise to go down.
i'd do it quarter turns at a time... a little goes a long way.

Answer. Thanks. Yeah I know about the 1/4 turns. Another good way is to pull up on a flat driveway about 6 car lengths from a flat wall. Use a piece of chalk and see how far they go up.

i was just out last night in my car, and on a windy road doing about 65-70. Wasn't outdriving mine....
Why would yours be so lower? Perhaps you should have the dealer take a look? seems odd they would be "that" different.

Your eyes are in the wrong place friend. Right in front of you. Gotta look way ahead.

????
I surely know what outrunning your lights mean, and my lights are aimed high enough that i see far enough ahead to not have an issue......in fact, a buddy and me were out last night, and we were talking about this. I took it up to 100 for a second or two, then coasted back down to 60, and still had no problem---looking "far ahead," as you say.
This is the first time i have seen any posting like this on the B8 forum, which makes it a very unique situation. Either you have a different definition of "outrunning your lights," or your lights were not set right; which is why i said have the dealer look into this....
