I second what Bruce said...I can't imagine how long that must have felt to you. Gotta feel great to have her back!!! So what did you get?? Did they tell you the year of the DSG?

Compared to the to the several 2.0T/Tiptronic loaners I had for 51 days, my 3.0 Supercharger/S-Tronic meshes and sounds *so* much better! Of course, the S4 looks and drives so much better too - with all that torque! I'm sure glad I got an S4, rather than an A4 in 2010!

Thanks guys! It's a brand new transmission produced @ the factory - but it's the exact same parts number I had before plus an X for exchange. I drove it home from the dealership in rush hour traffic so I wasn't able to test it out fully, but it felt fine with no error messages on the display.
Compared to the to the several 2.0T/Tiptronic loaners I had for 51 days, my 3.0 Supercharger/S-Tronic meshes and sounds *so* much better! Of course, the S4 looks and drives so much better too - with all that torque! I'm sure glad I got an S4, rather than an A4 in 2010!
