Default LEDs for License Plate

Okay, no picking on me for trolling eBay looking at crap, but does anyony know anything about LEDs like these? I've never seen this "company" before, so you never know ...

Does it seem like a crap product? Reasonable price? Anyhow ... thanks.

I got LED's for a few lights on my G35, and installed them myself, I paid about $3 a bulb - 4+ years ago. IMO that is a horrific price.

Oh okay. I like the look of the "white" LEDs as opposed to the yellow incandescent bulbs. But what is this "error message" the ad is talking about? I would like to find LED bulbs that I can simply replace the original bulbs with without having to do any extra work.

You can get some which fit the stock bulb fittings, just need to make sure they have a capacitor in them is all really. I'll poke around and find some and link for everyone.

Why do you want to make it easy for a cop to shoot laser at your plate?

There's a difference between "intention" and "side-effect." My intention is to make it look better. I think that with all the LEDs all over the car, and the fact that it's a crisp look is nice.

The side-effect is that the plate is easier to see. It's important to remember that when a police officer uses a laser gun, he's not aiming it exactly at the plate. At 1000' away, the "beam" he's firing is almost 3 feet in diameter, much larger than the plate! It's true that the plate is helping to reflect the beam back to the gun, but that will happen if there are incandescent bulbs, LEDs, or even NO light on the rear plate (which would get you a ticket anyway).

Besides many people get tickets from officers who are sitting on overpasses (or under them), inconspicuously sitting on an on-ramp, etc. They are beaming your car's hood, as you're approaching them. So what kind of lights I have on my rear plate aren't going to make much difference.
