I know that on all the B8's with the LED DRL's the side that the turn signal is on for turns them off until the signal is canceled by default. VAGCOM lets you change this so you can either dim them or leave on when signaling. I guess since they are SO damn bright I can see why off might make it easier to see the signal from the front though.

They did not. You have to do this vag mod to make them not wink.

Sorry, I misread your post. Mine was delivered Sept 24th and did wink, until I did the VAG mod.

Sorry, I can't confirm. Mine has memory so it already works this way.
