Default my 2011 stasis s4 vs my buddies c63 with x pipe and stage 2 upgraded ecu?

i was out with my friend yesterday. He has the c63 tuned stage 2 with x pipe and i have a 2011 s4 with stasis ecu and awe intake there was no chance of staying with him at high speeds but not too bad off the line. Do u think if his car was stock i could keep up with him with my current mods?

If stock, yes. Tuned, no. C63s are damn fast.

A chipped/exhaust S4 *might* keep up with a Pre-2011 stock C63 but a tuned C63 will absolutely destroy us 10 out of 10 times. They are in the low 12s, high 11s with just ECU tunes.

just curious...what kind of power is the tune adding to the C63? I know you can now get the car straight from MB w/ approx 480hp, but they charge like $5K extra for that. Are tuners putting out chips for it now?

Like Zerin and ynnekdude said C63's are fast... A well tuned one(MHP) is going to run very low 12's high 11's but will most likely require a DR tire... Most guys who tune aren't going to stop at just a tune... Where they shine even more is on the top end... Start adding headers, airbox, exhaust, slicks, and they are mid to low 11's... Add spray, cams, head work and they are in the 10's... The fastest in the world is at 10.39 trapping at 134, but he is heavily modded and spraying a 150+ shot... Just check out dragtimes... MHP owns all the records and I know the owner fairly well... He and I used to drag race Mustangs a few times a year...

Fonzie or I could hang with a tune tire car in the 1/8th and keep it close in the 1/4 but after that forget about it, at least as this stage... Need more mods for our cars... I am really hoping a blower port, pulley, retune, and TCU software nets me a 11.5x... That is going to surprise all but the most modded C63's IMO... Badass cars for sure...

My 2010 E63 (headers, EvoMSit Tune, crank pulley, catless exhaust, intake) did 12.0x's all day. It comes with approx 40-50 more hp stock than C63, but is obviously heavier. I would assume Prime is right on - 1/8 we could stick, but 3, 4 gear we would see C63 tailights. that is, as long as he didn't sit there spinning

I'm not an expert by any means. I have a friend with a C63 and that thing is an anaimal and accelerates MUCH faster than my stock S4. The only way you stay with him off the line would be due to quattro. AWD will probably help you launch better. The C63 has difficulty putting that power down and if the traction control is on, it really interferes.
