I am on the fence as to my next vehicle but considering the S4/S5. When does the next model year begin? I would also be interested to see if there are any changes (perhaps bring back the Ti package). I know the mid-cycle refresh impacted the current model year. Thanks.

MY for US is released last week of July if your timing for the order is wrong (you order for current MY, but production switches to next MY). Otherwise, it's first week of August. Cars have sat at the dock waiting to be released in years past.

Why are you waiting? If you order a custom car now, you'll have it in 90-ish days. Just in time to enjoy it all Summer!!

So will we know what (if any) new colours will be available once the 2014 order forms are out? My current colour choice is a bit of a compromise and I'd love if Sprint or Nogaro blue made a comeback.

The color options will be listed just last year's order guide. It was issued April 6, 2012.

It a question of timing. If the new model information is going to be released in 2 months, I would rather wait to see if there are any modifications to the packages and/or exterior colors (i.e. return of the Ti package). While unlikely, I am hoping that Audi offers Sepang or Sprint Blue as a standard color. One can hope....

While the S4 is a great all-around vehicle, I am still not convinced that it is my preferred path. If there was more info available on the next gen M3 it would make this decision easier for me.
