How is the car at night without the auto dimming mirrors? I just take this feature for granted in my current cars. I just hope I really don't miss not having them in S4. Really helpful feature with all the HID headlights on the road today.

My 2006 A3 had them and it's kinda annoying to not have them anymore since I haven't yet tinted the windows... but only for now.

Once you get tints, it's not really much of an issue. I had 35% tints on the A3, and the auto-dimming really became unnecessary.

Otherwise, it's mostly just a minor annoyance. What's more annoying is that Audi doesn't include it as a standard feature on a $50K+ car!

Yeah this is the only thing from the Premium package that I actually wanted but I was not about to fork over an extra couple thousand just for it.

I'll let you know in two weeks what it's like

I haven't even noticed the lack of them but my windows are tinted. Honestly, that option is a non-issue to me but everybody's different.

I should have qualified for non-tinted cars. In my area (NYS) tinting is a ticket waiting to happen. I have had older cars in past without, but at that time not as many cars with HID on the road.

I cannot fault Audi 100%. With a BMW 335 you do have to pay $2650 for premium pkg which gives you:

* Digital compass mirror
• BMW Assist with Bluetooth System
• Lumbar support
• Auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors
• Universal garage-door opener
* Dakota Leather

Diference is you get to pick and choose more, but anyway you cut it a 335 with similar equipment is around the price of a Prestige. I am referring to a pretty loaded 335x drive. Difference is BMW will lease out better. I wold have gone Prestige all day long if had same lease numbers as Prem +

I still wish Audi had found a way to add it to NAV pkg or Leather package for a few hundred more.

With all the equipment I added probably should have. I really don't plan on driving the car super aggressive on the street. Car I drove at dealer didn't have it and I was impressed. I realize that the vast majority of people get this option and I am sure it is great.

Memory seats are only applicable if somebody else drives your car. Nobody drives my car except me, so memory seats are not needed.

True...but not..
When you take it out to service, someone else will drive it and may move the seat, valet...
I am driving the S4 99% of time, but that 1% makes things difficult. Nothing bad, just a wish list. Especially since you can move these seats in so many different directions...
