haha...guess I missed the $4000.00 part the first time around...better be a serious performance upgrade to spend that much...and I don't think this is it....Just for the Mufflers?

That is a bit much just for mufflers. I have a full 70mm cat back in Titanium on my other car that weighs 13 lbs and was only $2000...

...not a muffler expert by any means....but I think $2000.00 sounds reasonable....maybe even $2500.00 considering the weight savings, but then....I would have to have some accurate details in the weight savings and not just guess-timates. Any muffler experts out there that can give their opinion...I am curious.

REMUS USA Response
S4 enthusiasts: $4053.00 is List Price, and part of that price of course is in the E.E.C. approval process. They could have made them "U.S. Sound / Race" as they do for BMW and Porsche, but they decided to go w/ Homologation on these so that they would pass even the most strict country's / state's emissions / sound tests. This would have brought the pricing down somewhat, but they felt that the World-wide approvals were more important.
This also indicates to us, that they will have a sound that leans more toward the "Sports Label" line, rather than their
"U.S. Sound / Race." So; rich, deep and throaty and louder upon throttle, with very little to no negative cabin drone. This is the statement we use when describing the "Sports Label" system. But we do think the Titanium2's will be slightly more aggressive sounding w/out being "race" loud or obnoxious in any way.
As soon as we get feedback on these fronts and more, we will be sharing.
I hope this helps. Thanks again.
