Default So..... back from the dragstrip round 6!

Just back from the track.... got 4 passes.....

Conditions:
58F, 51% humidity, 30.089P DA of 1365.... Track sits at 1230 so pretty good day all around... little cross breeze...

Car.... 2010 Audi S4 S-tronic, sportsdif, 19's, 1/2 tank 100oct, full wt. 2,500 miles....

Mods... Strat intake, 100 octane APR tune, and Miltek non-res exhaust/dp's... Sorry, I didn't get a chance to swap intakes yet again and I think I failed at using the vagcom to datalog.... Also, failed on having 1/2 tank of gas as it rained most of the week so I couldn't burn it off...

I added the exhaust since my last visit and after driving it maybe 25-30 miles I thought it actually felt a little stronger, butt dyno ftw! LOL Sounds really good... Anyone, who thinks the Miltek non res will be too loud it is not... I am sure DrV. and Rktskicar can attest... Here are the runs...

1.8435 60ft
5.2772 330ft
8.0384 1/8 mile
90.10 1/8 mph
10.3994 1000 foot et
12.3801 1/4 time
115.62 mph

Dissappointed with the 60ft and ET but the 1/8 mile speed and trap speed had me encouraged.... Car was very warm on this run... IE I just got there and made the pass 5-10 minutes later.....

1.8056 60ft
5.1974 330ft
7.9415 1/8 mile
90.29 1/8 mph
10.2914 1000 foot et
12.2633 1/4 time
115.93 mph

Again, another bad 60ft but good ET and very good MPH....

1.7832 60ft
5.1793 330ft
7.9244 1/8 mile
90.29 1/8 mph
10.2753 1000 foot et
12.2501 1/4 time
115.92 mph

1.78 60 is decent with another good ET and MPH.... Raced a new 5.0 6-speed with a very cute young lady driving.... She was amazed at how bad I walked her.... made a new friend though

1.7468 60ft
5.1426 330ft
7.8906 1/8 mile
89.91 1/8 mph
10.2456 1000 foot et
12.2272 1/4 time
115.33 mph

Got my goal of 1.75 or better 60 and 7.8 1/8.... Also, best ET but fell short of the 12.1999 and 116MPH I wanted... Not sure why the trap speed fell .5+MPH here on the last run, but I like the improvement in ET... Weight hurt me with an extra 3-4 gallons.... Will go with less next time and may even take the spare and tools out....

Overall, very very happy with the results, picked up 1mph in trap speed and got my goal in the 60 and 1/8 but just off on the 1/4 time... Exhaust definetly is helping, my guess is 10ish HP... Debating putting the stock intake on since I failed that objective and going Sunday.... Event day though so it will be packed.... May go make a few passes as it is only $15... Water/meth kit should be here this week.... not sure if I will have time to get it on... Long range forecast says rain next week....

Oh and of course the vids(sorry my drunken brother missed the 12.38 video and his shirt got caught in the fence on the one 12.25 run, sorry... Enjoy

Excellent. You're going to be the poster boy for drivetrain durability at this point.

excellent! Is there supposed to be sound on those vids? What sort of VAG logs did you take? which blocks?

The sound of the Milltek will change some (get louder) as it gets broken in.

Nice once again Ron, truly great numbers for so little really done to the car. I think if you went with tools and crap out of the trunk, lighter wheels, high flow cats or possibly the long headers with no cats and a 1/4 tank of fuel you might get under 12.1

High flow cats and you are going to be knocking on the door to 11s which is something I didn't think was very feasible on the stock blower! You are trapping 6-7 mph higher with the tune/exhaust vs your stock/intake runs which is really big.

Very nice times and congrats!

Hopefully a few other users with the 93/91 tune get out to the track and show us what an s4 on non superfuel can do

Great runs Ron, but I've also noticed that none of your vids have sound?

Thanks... I tried to log 12 readings, but something didn't work? I got the .csv file but it had all null vales... I went into engine, turbo, measuring block or something like that, picked 12 elements, and then hit start when I went to the line.... It worked but didn't log anything... I'll test on the street soon... Any tips are appreciated

Thanks man... I hope it can handle this and more it doesn't seem phased and fortunately I haven't had issues with mine like some others have....

Thanks man! Well... wheels are out.... I really like the stock ones(flamesuit on).... Will do the weight loss in the next few weeks... Also, should get better weather.... HF cats or headers and this car is in the 11's... Launch control and it's in the 11's now.... I really would like to drive a 6-speed with my exact mods....

Also, here are the slips....
