There are subtle changes, in the front bottom. My brother has a 2018 and I have a 2019 and we compared side by side. The 19's in the front are slightly different , especially in the bottom front face area. Lips are different, near where the "fogs" are. A couple other things here and there. Wireless charging and Waze added to apple carplay to name a couple examples.

Waze is a software level change of the iOS CarPlay interface and nothing to do with Audi.

So are you saying that the 18's can be updated to have that with a software update?

Ensure your iPhone is on iOS 12 and Waze is on the latest version. There is no update to CarPlay to the MMI, it is a native interface independent of Audi.

Saw this this morning:

not it sure how I feel about them ditching the control **** without having the dual stack touch. Was hoping they would get rid of the iPad slapped on and integrate the screen into the dash also

I hate losing the **** no matter how many touchscreens there are. This new design is chasing a fad rather than making things easier for the driver.

They really should have kept the **** along with the touch controls.. I wonder if there is any kind of touch panel in its place so that the driver can still navigate the MMI without reaching up to the touchscreen for everything. I can’t imagine there being just a blank piece of nothing in that space.

Exactly! Auto manufacturers/designers are running out of ideas and just feeding us solutions to problems that never existed.

Looks like an ashtray was added or at least something with a lid?
