Checked air filter and it was a mess in there

Mine was filled up just like that too at around 9k miles. I removed both foam pieces, vacuumed the rest of the junk out and put it back in.

i don't even know where it is on this car.

Damn man. You really gotta clean that out lol. I clean mine usually every month. especially last winter, i started getting random white spots because of the road salt. ended up taking the intake box out and washing it.

I had leaves and s*** in both air filter and cabin filter that I had to clean out. It has happened in other cars that I’ve owned before and I wasn’t surprised at all. Happens everywhere.

Yup, good to clean all this stuff out to make stuff last longer. But isn't that a little too much dirt/debris for 10k miles? Do these engines have very large intakes or something?
