Default Amazing Trunk Space - fits 65" TV in the box

spinmaster7 shared these photos on FB and I just had to share it here. I was looking at getting a new larger TV but never even considered being able to just go to the store and drive it home.

So I see these photos and I am amazed how large the trunk is that it fits a 65" TV still in the box with room to spare:

TLDR - B9 S4 trunk can fit large TV in box

I've done that as well. I was surprised it could swallow the whole TV but it did quite nice.

A big reason I bought this car is because it can eat two full length ski bags* inserted straight in (vs. diagonal) into just the 40 part of the 60-40 fold-down seats, without touching either front seat's position.

By contrast, in my girlfriend's Impreza hatch, we have to move the front passenger seat all the way forward (both slide and tilt) just to close the trunk, which makes that seat completely unusable... and then I get to sit in the rear seat behind her like some kind of awkward Uber rider. Not ideal!

Of course after buying the S4 I immediately went out and bought a roof rack and cargo box for it anyway upon remembering how much I hate having gear in the car. (Wet skis fog up windows and dry ones are a theft risk when you're tryna haul your gear to work and cut out at lunch to go sneak in a few laps.)

* full length = the rolling kind, packed full with not one but two pairs of 185+ cm long powder skis each.
