alarm disable
I have a B9 S4. On a recent ferry trip the ship's vibration set off the alarm forcing me to leave the car unlocked. Is it possible to disable the alarm. I couldn't find anything in the manual.

Depressing, isn't it?
My B7 S4 had a switch in the drivers door pocket to disable the alarm. Now the B9 has nothing but a button for opening the trunk. Audi cheaping out again it seems. Maybe your dealer can ask "ze germans" what their solution would be?

Well, I guess I owe "ze germans" an apology.
There is a button to disable the interior sensors. Not sure it will disable the vibration sensors though, but at least there is a button now.
You can find it by opening the drivers door. Take your hand and follow the armrest from the window switches to the end of the armrest, and then over the edge and down a few inches.
Just above the red door light, you will find a button.
Interior Alarm disable button - drivers door.

Just found this in the online owner's manual(it is not in my paper owner's manual that came with the car).
