The black optics paint scheme looks great, but the wheels suck. Why you only get one wheel option when selecting black optics is silly.

Could not agree more. If I could've had the V spokes AND black optics for the same price on my Daytona Grey, I'd have ordered my car (and would unfortunately still be waiting for it...)

But hey, at least they don't force those nasty piano black dash inlays on you like they do with the 2018 A4.

I agree with Sam and mplsbrian, the ideal configuration would be to blend the BO package and 19" V spokes. The 5-arm design worked for the B8 but need to move on with a new design or allow for specific rim selection.

I think I'm the only one here (aside from OP) that actually likes the 5-arm rotor wheels in the Black Optic package, and if I were more willing to wait for an order I would've ended up getting it. As it stood my car was everything I wanted minus that, so I was able to live with the compromise given the instant gratification.

Nice car, Mythos black is a great color. Given that it's still got the shipping blocks... I'm assuming it just landed on the dealer lot and you'll be picking it up soon?
