Looking at 2 2018 S4s, both Prestige trim and would love some input from the brain trust.
1. Ibis white, magma red interior, S sport package, fine nappa leather interior, 19" wheel package, carbon atlas inlays. 9500 miles asking $47000. It is in Texas and is a CA car. The only thing I see a little wonky is that one of the tires is a Hankook and the rest are original Contis.
2. Glacier White metallic, black interior, sport package, Driver assistance, heat package, trim package. 4700 miles asking $50000. In Chicago and is an IL car. They say it is in showroom condition.

It will be her car. We live in Utah in the mountains and plan on getting winter tires in the fall.
Bmw M5 is gone and I have the Land Cruiser. She is getting rid of her gutless RX 350.

Thoughts????
Thanks in advance.

Misread your location originally.

Are either of them CPO cars? If you want the 19s on the second one, they are pretty easy to source on here and the 18s would make a great winter setup.

Don't listen to this. The S4 without the S Sport package (really the only part worth while is the sport diff), is still awesome. 95% of the time you won't tell the difference anyways and still get all of the performance from the S4.

Anyways, assuming they are both CPO, I would take the lower mileage one. It's not much of a difference but the closer to new the better imo.

Neither is CPO. Can I use the fact that the one I really like has been on the lot for 136 days. I would seem that they would be fairly amenable to a good discount.

Are these Audi dealerships? If they are you have to ask why they don't qualify for CPO.

I'm sure you can get a good discount on the one that's been on the lot longer, but you also have to wonder why it hasn't sold (perhaps it's not in as great condition as they're representing it as).

Have them put a New set of Conti's or Hankook's on there for 46,000 and it would b a done deal.. IF YOU can live with MAGMA RED. EVERY DAY. It contrasts' well with white and looks great in pics but it's a hard sell in aftermarket. Just think about that.. The other one in Chicago.. WAY high!!. Especially out of Chitown. that's where I get mine out of. There is like 5 dealerships up there in Metro area.. I have ONE lady I deal with At Fletcher Jones in Chicago. I tell her what I want and it's delivered to my Door. They are Fantastic.. Even find me Special cars!! Check out there website to see what they got currently. Who knows!!

Have you run a Carfax on either of them?
I was originally looking at used S4s and a few I found in this price range (funny one was in Texas and one was in Chicago. Wonder if they're the same cars) and they both had issues on the Carfax.
One was actually Lemon'd and for sale at an Audi dealer that didn't give a free Carfax. Luckily I have a friend who has an unlimited Carfax subscription of some sort and he ran it for me.
