Yea they said cabin air filter is a three hour job, I’m like wtf? Do you have to pull the damn engine out ? I’m going to talk a manager today just to see what is going on with that quoted price bc it’s like a 5 min job for the cabin air filter.
I also have leased several vehicles in the past and never had to change brakes within the lease time frame.

Has anyone done the brakes/rotors themselves yet? I'd be tempted to do it myself unless there is anything on these cars that makes it more difficult than a standard brake job?

Do you need the vag-com to retract the rear brake calipers like on the B8?

. Had one for my 2001 S4, but it plugged in to an old-fashioned serial port and I'm pretty sure it's obsolete by now.

I'm thinking the same thing. My HexCom from my 2013 S4 won't work and needs an upgrade to the current version. Ross Tech has been getting even more draconian with their policies though.
