I had Maxspider mats in my BMW.
I like the way they are made.
These mats cover the same area as WeatherTech, and they also have the raised edge/lip like WT mats.

The main thing I like about the Maxspider is the top material.
It has a rubbery feel along with a nice rubber grip even when wet.
I don't know about the WT mats.
The WT mats looks slippery from what I can see, and even their description doesn't state that the surface is grippy or rubbery.
But, I want to know for sure as well.

I do know that both manufacturers say that their trunk liners are made of the same materials as their mats.
The Maxspider trunk mat has a molded in crease where it will bend if we need to open the spare tire area.
There are also molded spots that can be cut out for access to the trunk anchors for a net.
