I finally got mine on Friday and tried it out. I was surprised at the lack of instructions as it is not easy to figure out where to find the different features. Once I did find where to go, I realized that the app requires the purchase of credits via the play store for each programming function. For example, when I went to disable the start/stop function, it required 100 credits worth $12.99. Is this the way this device operates? If so, it could add up to hundreds of $$$ after someone is done will all the features. Quite disappointing not knowing this ahead of purchase or I just missed it on their website.

You can do the coding yourself without spending any money or credits. Search on this forum for the changes that you'd like to make and use OBDEleven to change the adaptation or long coding values in the instructions. I've done almost all of my coding with OBDEleven and I've never used a single credit.

Here's my compiled and formatted list of common changes. Like rccoleman said - super easy to do yourself, no need to pay for credits.

Thanks all. Do these custom codings get erased during servicing at the dealer? If so, is there a backup system or do we have to repeat all the codes?

I haven't had them go away during service at the dealer, and I haven't heard of anyone who has.
