Default Shaking when cold start
After I start the car on a coldstart when The Idle starts to lower the car seems to shake for a couple of seconds. Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes.
My S4 does the same thing.
I had this same experience in my last two BMW 3 series as well.

TT-S4 is offline

Yes. 2018 A4. Shakes for more that just a couple of seconds, more like 15-20 seconds.

Same What they said...

seems to idle "rough" for a few mins untill it comes off of high idle.. sometimes longer.. I thought it might be a problem but sounds "normal"
now...

It is a function of the B-cycle valve timing, can be a bit lumpy at idle in certain states. If it bugs you, just flick the transmission lever to S mode, then it will stop shaking.

Mine does too. I think the transmission mount inserts sold by various sources tighten things up a bit (less shaking), according to some members here. I am thinking of doing that.

Mine does it as well.. Smoothes out within a minute or so, after 13K miles.
