Something I had been curious about ever since I started shopping for my S4 last year.. I wonder why the Audi USA website highlights the S4 as having an available panoramic sunroof -- and shows a clearly different roof than what is in our S4s? (Actually the picture isnt even of an S4)

Noticed this too, I am certain it is simply a marketing oversight. In Germany you can spec the S4 Avant with a pano glass roof (according to the http://configurator.audi.com website), but we can't get the Avant here in North America. You can only spec the sedan (called the saloon over there) with the same regular glass sunroof we get here.

Guys.....I can say with relative certainty and personal experience, that this is very typical lack of communication between AUDI AG, and AUDI USA.

To say it's accidental would be untrue - however, the differences between Euro Spec and USA import spec vehicles can be LIKE this. And what we see in the literature
obviously takes more effort to correct than it does to leave it with a big question mark hovering over it.

What is comical to me, is how details and perfection are so important to German engineers, and yet when it comes to marketing and sales information -- "ze details do not mattuh".

Kind of like cupholders and purse compartments.
