Default Wheels Spacers Stock wheels?

Not very familiar with wheel spacers but I commonly read they are for custom wheels. I will be lowering my S4 soon but am keeping the stock 18" wheels on.

Would spacers still help? I also read they increase handling and traction. Thoughts?

It's more for looks. When you lower your car the wheels will looked "tucked" spacers push them out to the fenders to look flush and to also clear any issues with suspension when lowering. I'm lowered on my S5 sportback about 1.5 inches and I will be running 10mm spacers on the front and 12mm in the rear on my stock 19's winter setup. Should look almost flush. Hope this helps.

Ok gotcha. Not sure what size spacers I should use. I was going for a 1.2" drop.

I have a set of wheel spacers from ECS Tuning on my ride with stock wheels. They help give our ride a wider more aggressive looking stance. They are not just meant for aftermarket wheels. Hope this helps.

Can I ask what sizes you decided to use for front and back? I have the 18" wheels.

No worries. I went with ECS’s flush mount kit... 10mm all around. Check my insta... blvckpearl.b9s4.

Since the wheel will be sticking farther out does that mean I need to buy a spacer set with the bolts? Are the bolts longer?

Yes they are a bit longer that’s why I just went with their kit. I don’t remember how much longer it was though.
