Default "CHECK ENGINE" light came on with the "SERVICE!" light > SOMEONE PLEASE ADVISE>

I have 49,654 miles, the "service" light has been on for about a 1000 miles but today the "check engine" light came on, had the fluids changed 2 weeks ago,is it just the car telling me to service it for the 50K ? Does anyone know of a good service shop that is near Diamond Bar, CA???

THANXS!!!!

No relation between service indicator and CEL. Check engine light indicates a problem

You can reset the service indicator w/o a VAG. But you need one to read the CEL fault codes
