Default "New" Suspension - Hyperco 450/500 springs with notched Bilstein shocks (thanks DAP)

We recently performed a triple-suspension-swap.

Stasis Tracksports (600/700) went from a Silver S4 to DAP's Nogaro. Bilstein/Hypercos (450/500) went from DAP's car to mine. And the Silver went back to stock (end of lease). Doing all 3 at once allowed us to avoid a lot of unnecessary spring compression, as we moved full sets from one car to another. We only had to change one set to put stock back on the silver car. That saved a bunch of time. Doing this in a heated garage was very nice as well, especially since we worked into the evening.

I'm very happy with my new suspension. While I haven't really tossed it around that much (roads have just become clear, etc), I definitely feel more planted on mildly aggressive on/off ramps. I need to wait until I have my 18" summer wheels on to see how the ride height looks and to get a better idea how it feels overall. As of right now, I'm very happy.

Wow! 3 sets of suspension at the same time. That's pretty impressive.

Default What kind of suspension did you have before?

I'll have bilstien and MTM soon (as soon as LI-S4 gets around to taking it off his car ;-) I can't wait to get it on there. Also, was the silver S4 bascially giving away the tracksports? If he was, DAP got his email out 3 min before I did, haha.

I had APR/Bilstein, and was desiring something different to give my car some new life. I had considered a new set of tracksports. I actually emailed about this set the same time as DAP, so you were 3 minutes behind both of us Dave and I worked it out between us that he got the Tracksports and I got his suspension, so we both got an upgrade. Dave and I were going to dragrace for the Tracksports, but we figured this out instead )

Default Heh. Mark and I emailed within minutes.

I was just ahead of him. So we worked it out that I got the tracksports and Mark got my "old" suspension.

Default lol, damn you guys! A buddy of mine told me about it 5 min after he got the email

I jumped on that deal, but you two were too quick for me, haha. Makes me happy to see its going to someone who will put them to better use than me though :-)
