Default Depends...

That indicator is strictly mileage based, and sometimes the mileage increments aren't even set correctly. Best thing to do is look through the service history and determine when was the last time you changed the oil, filters, plugs, etc., and then compare to the maintenance manual to make a determination about what needs to be done.

The kicker...you're asking us for advice, and you're the one that has all the info. But, since you're feeling lazy right now, I'd advise you to ask yourself the question at a later time...when you're in a mood to not be quite so lazy.

Thought it was also time-based, no? Seems to be on our cars.

Default What's due? "Service". Service Reminder can be reset/cleared without VAG........

there's a sequence you can follow from the driver's seat.

I'll check on what's due (plugs?). What is the sequence you speak of?

Default I need to check my owner's manual, my mechanic (audi tech.) claims it's in there.........

He talked me through the sequence using the clock & odometer ***** on the instrument cluster to reset the service reminder. It works, I just don't know the sequence off the top of my head.
