$26000 for a 2000 S4 WITH 37513miles?

I think there is one point we are missing here...
The original price was advertised at 27995 and we tried hard to negotiate getting him down to 26k but b/c he took the car on a trade in for 25000 (could be be full of **** obviously but I'm gonna take his word on it) he wouldnt go down any further. The point is who ever traded it in did very well if they in fact got 25K back on trade in for a nearly 4 year old car. I would say thats good news for S4 (B5) owners.

My guess is a lot of S4 (B5) owners are trading there cars in
for the new S4 and that is why the market is relatively flooded with them. The same will happen with M3s when the new M3 comes out. The only reason my friend is interested in the S4 is b/c he drove my 2004 S4 and loved it (btw he loved the B5 S4 as well after his test drive). For all those looking to resell there S4s I would keep your hopes up that the new S4 continues to get a lot of attention and praise b/c it will make your cars that more attractive to buyers who are not willing to shell out the bucks for a new one.
