Default I agree it's steep. They claim there's Kevlar sandwiched in the rubber and it's made in factory....

mold. It should never fail and is cheaper than the APR bipipe.

Default I'd be concerned about seams in the kevlar, it could still rip there.

It's unlikely, and it does have a lifetime warranty, but I'd still feel the need to inspect it. It's a rubber part with a lot of surface area and an odd shape, it's clamped to a very sharp edged groove on the TB and subjected to extreme heat.

I may be biased since I only paid $300 for my bipipe. I have no worries about that part of the intake system now, the bipipe isn't going to rip or come off. Inspection is easy since there are no clamps for rips to hide under, a quick check for oil and dirt at the TB joint and I'm done, no leaks yet.

Default I guess anything "could" happen. I trust MTM and Audi engineers to have designed it well..

I haven't heard anyone ever complain about an MTM engineered product, except of course for the price.

I agree with possibility that it could still blow off but my OEM boot hasn't ever blown and I'm not running "Mad Boost Yo", I've been dying to work that into a post :-P

I'd imagine that with new clamps and the Kevlar in there you could tighten that puppy on there pretty good and have no worries.

I get your point though, no doubt the Bi-pipe is a nice piece.

Default I'm sure it's a nice piece, shame they can't make it for the $125 price point.

If I have the budget for a $295 TBB fix, what's another $55?

Options are good though, improves the aftermarket.
