Is $600 too much for Tracksport install with the Stasis accessory kit?
I've been dragging my *** on getting the coilovers installed and still have yet to receive the "official" kit. I was quoted $800 for a complete install and 4-wheel alignment by Champion Motorsports. This was without the accessory kit though which should save them some time. I never asked but figured they are probably charging around $200 for the alignment.
Is it really that easy to install with the kit? Maybe I'll just throw 'em on myself over the weekend.
Thanks,
Rob

once you get those installed then you can sign up for the audi club florida's drivers event.

do it yourself.
anything you can learn to do on this car will save you in the long run.
it will take you half a day to an entire day, but if you ever need to adjust them or replace a shock, you'll be a pro.
The directions are very good from STaSIS

That sounds excessive for an alignment w/o adjustable links.
As for install, I'm sure that their labor prices are on the high end, but it's safe to say that they know Audis...
It's probably a case of 'you get what you pay for.' I'd expect them to do a great job.

Sounds like too much.
Realistically, this is what a good shop will probably charge for a tracksport install...
Install rears: 1.5 hours
Install fronts: 3 hours (includes drilling shock towers)
Adjust ride height: 1 hour
** all of the above should be bundled into the "install" price**
Alignment: $100
Corner balancing: $150+??
My guess is the shop is not corning balancing anything, or it would have been itemized. So I would expect that they would charge $550 or so installed and aligned.
The accessory kit might save you an hour on the labor (on the front install), but probably not much more than that (I'm assuming stasis would send you the front springs and shocks assembled and ready to mount in the car).
