Default Distance of illumination is an issue of headlight optic beam pattern than technology...

Anybody can do "research" these days. :-/

Default They can have my Xenons when they pry them from my, cold dead hands.

Or they could give $50 to a car thief after I park my car in New Jersey. :-P

Uh oh. That means we can't just race all cars with Xenons now.

Default Yep, it's a shame how for many it seems emotions and a sample size of one matter more than facts :(

"Doctor! I stared at these lights the whole time and I couldn't see for a minute!"

Doctor: Wow, hids are horrible!

Or something like that, not very creative right now.

Last week I had a Navigator with hids give _me_ high beams, he flashed once then left them on. I almost turned around to follow the guy.. I was below his cutoff because well, it's a truck, so I was already getting a lot of glare, pissed me off. I know my cutoff was below his bumper. My friend on a motorcycle I was following said my lights never glared for him. Lincoln guy is probably a HID hater that doesn't even know he has them.

Speaking of anyone doing research, read this tripe guy can't even really differentiate between "hid" and those fake "xenon" bulbs...

oh well.
