*Ahem* I'll ask this again: how do I fix a shallow gash in the leather?

Default *Ahem* I'll ask this again: how do I fix a shallow gash in the leather?

Only the top layer is damaged, and its the onyx black leather. the gash is about 1cm long. thank you.

Default I don't know how you can do it yourself, but my dealer had to fix same type damage in my leather...

because THEY damaged it. The fix looks pretty good; I just am not sure how it will wear. The fix looks like some kind of filler that bonds to the leather and appears to be almost sprayed on. Maybe someone else will know what I'm talking about. I don't have any details because they did this "under warranty" (yes - their techs did this damage along with trashing a wheel and they charged it off to Audi...). I'm guessing that this is some type of leather repair service available to all dealers. Sorry to not be of any more help - it SUCKS to have leather damage :-(
