Default 0-60 for a Tiptronic?

I have a Tiptronic S4 and searched all over for 0-60 times. Some say its in the range 5.9 to 6.1 Can somebody please help me with this?

Also, I am thinking of chiping mine, is there anyone out there who has chipped a Tiptronic S4? I inquired from a couple of places and they said they need to change the tiptronic chip too, in order to reduce the strain on the tranny.

Default me me!!!

i chipped my tip S4 with the GIAC ecu and tip chips..

must say at 12k it felt like a completely different car... shifting was much less sluggish and the engine felt like it could do 0 - 60 in 3 seconds.. (yeah and i just spent the night with britney spears) i wish.. but the car overall felt much faster...

don't know the real time for the 0-60.. i should look into that too huh?

Thanks for the infor, i'll check out the GAIC chip. Ur car looks very cool. Did u send the ECU for chip replacement or took it to the shop?

I wonder if you have noticed with the stock tip, u cannot ****f from 1-2 or 2-1, it happens automatically. And sometimes the shifting is very abrupt with a slight 'thud'. Specially when u press the gas pedal when moving around 2-3mph (Slowing down for speed bumps).
Do u still encounter this with the new tip chip? Or u never came across this kinda thing?

Try local drag strips for measuring 0-60 times

Default to downshift from 2nd to 1st gear... (more)

around 10-20mph you tap down on the (-) twice and press the gas pedal 50%. and if you give full throttle starting from 0mph you'll hit redline in 1st gear as well.

Default I've measured a 5.61 sec. 0-60 mph & 14.31 sec. @ 100.5 mph 1/4 mile.

More info in my registry about it.

Chip it, it needs it.

Default NASA w/GIAC ECU+TIP chips got a 1/4mile time of 14.2(ish), 0-60 5.5ish (?)

basically, the consensus has been a Tip w/GIAC ECU + TIP chips gets similar #'s as a stock 6 speed

No idea on 0-60, but a friend runs consistent 14.00-14.1 quarter miles. This should= 5.5 0-60 or so
