1.2 lateral G's on the apr/stasis project car??
Take a look at the specs! 1.2G lateral must be a misprint?!? Usually, the braking G's are much higher than the lateral. I also noticed they upgraded to 255/35-18 tires. Hmm, the exact same size tire I want to run this summer(after I roll the front fenders).
I'm sure the main reason for the high lateral G's is the Dunlop SP Super Sport Race tires, Dunlop's DOT-legal Competition tire. How long do you think those tires would last on the street? They're only $127/ea on tirerack, compared to $247/ea for Michelin PS2.
After the tires, the main difference between my suspension setup and theirs would be the "adjustable swaybars". I don't see swaybars listed on their site. Maybe APR supplied them.

http://www.stasisengineering.com/

I've been running the Super Sports for about a month now
I *love* these tires. They're not going to last long, but boy, they're great - I can't wait to try them out on track.

Spent time with that car at Sears Point about a month ago. Paul Lambert
showed Leslie and I the car and ran us through it.
Very nice. He's run it against 996's, Z06's and E46 M3's and won out at Sears each time.
That car is more than capable of the claims.

yeah, they should last a summer
just hope for a dry summer - they hydroplane easily. Not terrible, you just have to be more aware.
Pulling well over 1 g makes it all worth it though
