I have a 2000 S4 and my Power Steering rack is going out. I've called around and tried to find anyone who has one in stock but no luck. Plenty for 1.8T and V6 models, but not my car. I most likely will have to have mine rebuilt. Does anyone know anywhere in Southern California that rebuilds these things? My price on a new one (rebuilt from Audi) at Commonwealth VW/Audi in Santa Ana is about $706. I was just trying to find a better deal than that. Any help would be appreciated.

only found that out once it was on the car and leaked like a *****. Ended up getting the oem re-built rack.

Thanks for your input guys I really appreciate it. I'm thinking I will end up just getting one through Audi.. Like you said I don't want to do it twice.
