2001.5 intake manifold help
Bought 2001.5 intake manifold, and wonder that should it be ported (mainly runners heads inside the plenum)? My aim is 400-450chp (k04 (plain), fmic, miltek 2x2.25", decat).
Does the old(box type)intake manifolds throttle, fuel lines and injectors go straight to that 2001.5 intake manifold?

imo, not needed, but will it make a difference? yeah, but it's going to be small. if you're
going to do it yourself, then absolutely. if you're having someone else do it then 1) negotiate the price, and 2) still ask yourself again whether it will be worth it.
hmmm . . . maybe that's why PiggieSmalls' car runs so well . . .
i take back everything i said!!!

No, the 2000 and 2001.5 is not interchangeable directly. But can be adapted.
The vacuum ports on the back are different. There is a way to do it though, not sure off the top of my head how (search).
I ported my 01.5 myself. I had multiple pics of what it should look like and it came out pretty good. I first used an air die grinder to start it off and get the big stuff, then finished it off with smaller bits on an electric dremel.
