Geez, I am very sorry but I can tell you....
I weighed the options of tricking my car out vs just this.... a denied claim and a big bill to put the car back together. I had heard that the cost of blown turbos was around $7000. UUGH. I really feel for you and I just decided to part with my 2001 S4 and get an M3. I still love the S4 but to get the performance where I wanted it... I had to go to stage 2+ and lose resale and a possibility of a denied wtty. damn. that really sucks.

contact sema
im not an s4 owner but an a4 owner...it shows that any dealer can't refuse warranty service for any aftermarket part that caused a problem...this may not be exactly what your after, but it gives important phone #'s to call, like the district rep, etc, etc...it goes on to say that if you still are getting the run around what steps to take there...im sure the people at sema could really help you out here...good luck...sorry i dont have a real link but:
http://www.sema.org
try that
o by the way why are they holding your car?, i seriously doubt that is legal if they're not performing service on it

It's just the K03s.
They made a big mistake picking those turbos. I've got no other complaints about that powerplant.
If they would have used Mitsu or Garrett turbines, they really wouldn't have had problems of this nature.

Gen II S4
If the generation II S4 is still turbocharged, I hope that Audi has their engineering figured out, because if they don't, a lot of people, including myself, who absolutely loves boost, is going to get it someplace else.
