....but its not exactly the one i want!!!!!! I've been fighting with these people since april!! Then today they say its in and knowing that they had two cars comming one with bose and one without i asked and they said this was without....

so here is the deliema:

1. I know everyone is torn between the bose is crap debate, but it seems like its just the principle that if i didn't want it with bose to begin with i could have had it in april.

2. That being said should i wait, the guy said the other one, the one i want is a few weeks behind this one... but who knows they haven't been right about anything this far.

3. How am i supposed to go over there and look at the car and not leave with it this is torture!!!!!<p>Waiting....

Take your lumps and JUMP on the car that's there. Really, the Bose is crap, so don"t worry about it.

Personally, I never play music loud enough in my car to know any difference. I have Bose but wouldn’t know it from an 8-track in a car. Are you an audiophille or audi-phille?

Might make the decision easier. You could also try for the “I’m so pissed I’m going to another dealer unless you give it to me way under MSRP”. It probably won’t work but it’s worth a try.

The bose upgrade adds a better amp, which we know iss not that good, upgrades speakers and 2 extra speakers in the passenger doors. The head unit is the same.

For 1200 dollars which i know would be wrapped in the car if it comes with it, you can buy a better amp and equivilant or maybe even better speakers than those that come with the Bose system. The drawbacks, installation, cost out of pocket.

I thought the Bose upgrade was only $650, unless you including the changer.

I was told it was to have Bose and it didn't. At first I was pissed but there wasn't much I could do about it. I would have had to wait forever for another to come in and I had waited long enough.

Now I'm actually glad it came without. I added a sub and amp I had from another car and it sounds exactly the way I like it. Most people on this board dislike the Bose anyway.

I feel for you because it totally sucks to think/expect one thing and then have something else. At least it didn't come with cloth interior!<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/Rebadged3.jpg">
