Is the ABT chip better than the rest considering...
that there is no need for software changes/upgrades when switching to different gas octanes? Do other chips automatically adapt to these changes?

Caveat...
I believe they all do, within a couple of octane points... but I don't think any of the tuners (including Abt) can lay claim to an automatic compensation from say... 93 to 100.
