FWIW-After researching chip options, I went Abt. I have not driven others but this thing is amazing. Just as docile and drivable as stock but the power on tap, everywhere, amazes me. A suspension upgrade and probably brakes as well seem more important than ever. And w/o going into details, there were initial challenges that tested the vendor's commitment to customer support. Stratmospheric has my respect and loyalty. Pete will take good care of you.

I have nothing but good things to say about Bob and Pete at Strat. I started with ABT chip, downpipes and exhaust from them. The problem is it will never stop. Suspension upgrade is a must - changes the car as much as the chip. Then brakes - did the stoptechs with Strat. Only do this if you are going to track the car - otherwise forget it - you will never notice it - never. But then you need more. Bob warned me when I drove home with chip, exhaust, downpipes that the car would be fast, of course you think that it can't be that good until you hit the gas in 2nd gear and you experience fear. After a few weeks you totally love the car - it's your baby - absolutely perfect. Then you start reading about a ko4 upgrade. You can't sleep at night. You justify that $6000 isn't that much money. You call Todd at AWE or Josh at Actuning or APR or MTM or Bob / Pete at Strat and then you somehow end up giving your credit card to one of these guys and then you can't sleep for 2 weeks until it arrives in the mail. 400+hp 500+tq. You open the box. You touch the KO4s. You hold the ceramic coated awe headers in your hand for a few minutes while the wife is watching some crap on tv. After the car comes back from the shop after $3000 in labor you step in the car and hit the gas - and then you realize that you now own a car that in 5 seconds could kill you - and you think, holy f--k!!!! This car is a f--king missle. I own a car that is a f--king missle - it use to be a car - it is not a car any longer.

I could go on and on - it only gets worse.
Either stop with the chip or commit yourself to the S4 insane asylum.
I now have my wife telling me that the stock rims that I use for winter tires are uncool and that she wants the BBS summers on so that she can cruise in a cool car.

I know, I know. It's already started. And you didn't even mention some of the "cosmetics" such as bumper, euro lights, .... I need to find another hobby quick to get priorities in line. Oh, it's sunny--hop on the motorcycle which probably needs a suspension rebuild and a driveline conversion to really be fun.
