I am a very patient person when it comes to waiting for my parts. I had placed an order back about three weeks ago for the rs4 intercoolers.
Even before this order has been placed i was waiting for them from APR. Well APR is off my list now, so they wont be seeing my $$$, but achtuning; i dont get it.
I called Josh many times, not getting upset or impatient, but its enough. I spoke to him about APR and how they wont be having em for a while. Josh also sold me on his extra parts that will fit the s4 better, such as this hardpipe to replace the long silicone hose. Along with this, he said that he was just waiting for one thing, and it should be soon.

SOOOO... after all this waiting still no intercoolers, with a car sitting lonely in a shop for weeks in pieces for this with MUCH DOWNTIME. As you know i dont post a lot, and when i do i feel it is important. Josh felt like he didnt have the time for me, and kinda cut me off the phone. This isnt my way of friendly service so i think ill slow down business with them and stick to AWE. AWE has treated me well, and i like how they ship stuff when they say they would; and not mess around with me. The service has been quite good so far, with no hang-ups either! can you believe that? I thought Josh was very rude.
I havent driven my car in over 4 weeks, and the intercoolers ive been waiting on for 2 months, since my order with apr(no caps for them).

..well see the future..

with either finding a pair of rs4 ic's or w/ achtuning's customer service. Josh has been very helpful w/ me in the past... I blew my turbos and he got me K04s, inlets, and dp's in an extremely timely manner.

If you need IC's that badly, you could have called around. They are not all that hard to find. I bought a set from ECStuning in mid-January along w/ the APR hoses.

All I can say is that you can't blame them if their order to them hasn't come in yet.

if he was desperate for rs4 ic's, a few phone calls could easily have secured him a set.

If stuff doesn't ship when a vendor says it will, that may not be their fault, in actuality, it does mean they have done a poor job of predicting lead times and managing expectation.

well... than why promise ship dates and not comethrough? padding dates is wise IMO.

I just talked to Josh and he said that the hoses would be in in about three days. I'm just now ordering my new intercoolers and a few other items. I hope the situatuion works itself out for both of us.
