Hello all -

I've searched the S4 forum and haven't found an answer to this question, so I'll go ahead and ask:

Has anyone actually had any subframe cracks when using the Neuspeed 22mm bar with the supplied reinforcement brackets? All I've been able to find is third-hand mention it *could* happen - I'm looking for actual stories where it *has* happened to you or someone you know.

Thankfully the 97-99 A4s worked out most of the problems before the S4 was introduced so that the sway bars now come with the braces which seem to do the trick in terms of preventing additional stress to the rear subframe.
