Advise please. I need a RR door for my S4 & found....
a 1999 A4 door with the same paint code at the bone yard. Will all of the insides be the same? I understand the door panel will be different and can deal with that. What about the door handle on the outside?

Huh? How about Santorin Blue, Laser Red, Silver, Black....
...Cactus Green, Pearl White, Casablanca White, Hibiscus Red, etc.
The only S4-specific colors are Imola Yellow and Nogaro Blue.

The '99 has the old-style handle. '99.5 & up has what you need. (more)...
If the paint code matches, the color will match. I would think that if it's a '99, it wouldn't have the same code as your 'S', as the '99 & earlier cars had a more bluish-silver than the '99.5 & up cars. So if it's a '99.5, get it. Swap out the door panels & lower trims & you should be good to go. Have fun hanging it - load up the edges w/ masking tape & be careful.
