Default ZR1 Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter: "the ZR1 will beat the track record for production cars at any

any road course in the world."

2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Hits the Nürburgring
<a href="http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=125496">"According to our shooters on the ground, the Corvette ZR1 was turning in lap times in the low 7:40s, a pace that puts it right up there with the world's fastest supercars. And given the damp conditions and rough, hand-timed numbers, you can expect to see even quicker official lap times when Chevrolet goes public with its Nürburgring data."

Default Not a good start considering the GT-Rs numbers and now Lexus LF-A and Acura's new NSX both lapping

in well under the 7:30 mark.

Very impessive car but I'd spend 100K differently.

Default Last Saturday, saw the new ZR-1 on the road...Had dealer plates and

was in light blue. It was completed debadged, but the guy driving was romping on it. It sounded fantastic. My bro took a pic on his cell, but it didn't turn out too well. I did my best to keep up...looked very good and the rear is just monstrous...like what they did widening the rear and flaring the fenders more...

like, say, on a GT-R? (assuming you could get one without a huge markup)

GT-R before mark up is ~$70K. I guess 30K could get you a lot more performance or what ever you want

Default Good luck getting a GT-R with the limited numbers.

I would imagine a ZR-1 will be easier to get in the next two years regardless of price just do to the numbers GM puts out.
