Aftermarket Warranty buyer beware post: I just received a card in the mail soliciting business for
an extended warranty. It is from Authorized Dealer Services which it says is a division of Great Atlantic Warranty, Inc. 201 N. Scenic Hwy Lake Wales, FL 33853.
There is a custom-looking Owner ID number printed in red (balance of card is black ink) and it has "2002 Audi S4" on the card as well, so they have some personal info on me. I called the number, just to mess with them and the phone has been disconnected! I googled them, got a local number and that too has been disconnected!
If you bought a warranty through these guys, I would assume you're screwed. Pays to go with reputable established companies. My guess is that this warranty is about as valuable as Enron stock right about now.
